It must be a lot more effort to go down the stairs the way it does than simply to trot. I think the cat is doing it to have more fun. My cat is quite old, but it amazes me to see the effortless manner in which she glides (or sometimes shoots) up and down the stairs. She hardly seems to touch the treads. |
