If you've not been yet, we are using the lounge which is on the ground floor, you can go to the bar without missing anything, and the drinks are cheap (plus there is hand pulled John Smiths). The room isn't quite as private as the old one in the Shaw, which is probably a good thing as a few of the trades regulars are coming every week now to listen. The club will be running throughout the summer, but there will be a couple of weeks when regulars will definitely be thin on the ground – i.e. 23rd and 30th of August, but the room's there if you want to use it…. Dates for Autumn Every Monday – Singers and Musicians with a Music Session beforehand (all welcome especially beginners) All dates at Barnsley Trades unless otherwise stated 20th Sept – Wendy Arrowsmith http://www.wendyarrowsmith.com/ 1st Oct – Andy Irvine plus supports at the St Georges Suite, cons club (this might have to change venue as the cons club may be undergoing a refurb then).
