08 Aug 10 - 04:33 PM (#2960742) Subject: BS: 'Bing' picture From: Kampervan Can someone please tell me, how to identify the location of the daily picture that we get when we log onto 'Bing'. (I know that it's probably obvious to even a dim-witted 3 year old - but not to me!). I know that there are secret panels which give you questions/clues, but is there anyway of getting a straight forward label which says just where the fabulous picture was taken? Help please ...K/van |

08 Aug 10 - 11:54 PM (#2960917) Subject: RE: BS: 'Bing' picture From: ragdall Kampervan I asked that question on Bing search and got this answer: To find out where the Bing daily background picture is from, just hover your mouse over the copyright symbol "©" in the bottom right hand corner of the image. Also, you may have noticed that if you hover over the picture you can learn fun facts about the subject of each of the images. rags |

I'm still running XP, but I'd be grateful for details on how I can get shot of Bing. It takes me everywhere but where I want to go, and redirects two out of every three searches, based on past actions I have taken, some as long ago as five months. Don T. |

10 Aug 10 - 03:35 AM (#2961765) Subject: RE: BS: 'Bing' picture From: Kampervan I only loaded bing cos I was annoyed when Google took away the UK only option on web searching. IMHO I have to say that Bing seems to do a pretty good job and I would be hard pressed to say that there was much difference between the searches on either of them. |
