From: Anne Neilson Our series of ballad workshops resumes this coming Sunday, with more in the pipeline between now and Christmas (including two guest events). Past workshops have been very well received and our participants are very loyal. We explore a new ballad each time and hear a lot of others from workshop members - together with much discussion of motives, obscure folklore, alternative tunes etc. A fine way to spend a Sunday afternoon! |
