They did - on a very cold and rainy day.

I've just waved goodbye to them as they resumed their journey north.

Neither Kendall or I were in the best of health today but we still had a good visit with Dean and Judy.

It's so good to put a face to a Mudcat handle.

I'd like to have met them. Have a good trip, Dean and Judy.

Frogprince, and Judy, are back home as of this afternoon. It was quite a trip. In terms of our plans to tent camp 5 of the nights, it was a bust. We got drowned out of the tent the first night, and had rain so steady we never got to set it up again. But we had such a good time meeting "mudders" and a few other good people, we got no regrets. Arrived back in Michigan to about the same scorching heat as when we left.
If any of you get a chance to take in a friday night at the Cafe Namas in Ormstown, check it out; Adrien and his partner are doing a good thing there. It's been way too long since I've seen a good ol' coffee house scene like that.

Good to hear you got home safely. Maybe next year you will make it to my home province. P.E.I. It is a splendor you will cherish.
Dean, I wrote a short not on the
Ron Bankley, Bruce Murdoch and Tom Ghent thread about your visit. I didn't mention your wife's name as I was not sure if I should on the Internet. Just to say that the visit was way to short as you know I was busy but i am sure glad you enjoyed it. Your comment "It's been way too long since I've seen a good ol' coffee house scene like that", meant a lot to me. I mean it. And thank you.

Gosh, it was the only rain storm we'd had in a month. It was substantial but not like last year where it rained practically every day for two months.

Everyone said you really needed the rain, so we don't feel that bad about it. But it sure was timed all wrong for our camping plans.
