I'll be guest at the Bodmin Folk Club, this coming Friday Sept.17th. It would be great to meet up with any friends from that neck of the woods!

Jerry, I'd love to come, just a bit too far to travel from Derbyshire.

Everyone else - If you are nearby, you should go. Great singer, great club!

Echo what Sylvia says Jerry is a fine singer and you lucky people in Bodmin should go in droves

I assume from this that you will not be in Bray on Saturday 18th. Hope the gig goes well for you Jerry. But then, I know it will.

Enjoy anyway.

George

Jerry,

We (well the wife with a bit of banjo hindrance from me!) were the last guests there a couple of weeks ago.

We had a fantastic night; great friendly audience with lovely harmonies, great CD sales, good beer and a nice room.

It seemed to me to be a superbly organised club.

I loved the photos (on the walls) of the club through the decades, especially the one of a very young looking Jez Lowe from the early 80's.... though the photos go much further back than this.

I'm sure you will have a great night.

Paul

Yes George, I'm afraid its unlikely we'll get to Bray on Saturday night, though I will be back in Ireland. For various reasons I'm only paying a flying visit to Cornwall, Friday lunchtime to Saturday lunchtime. Céilí House on RTE calls on Saturday night with the opportunity to plug The Frank Harte Festival. Have a good night in Bray!

Hope it goes well Jerry - if it wasn't for the fact that it's a long way to Bodmin from here I'd be there like a shot. Irene x
