07 Oct 10 - 11:01 AM (#3001712) Subject: RE: Shanties at Lancaster Music Festival From: GUEST,Blowzabella sans cookie There is a rumour that the performances which were scheduled to have taken place in the Maritime Museum have had to be pulled because the Museum doesn't have a Premises License and no TEN had been served. As far as I know the pub schedules will not be affected. I am not, however, involved with the festival and I don't know anyone who is. My info came from someone who works on the quayside. |
07 Oct 10 - 02:49 PM (#3001916) Subject: RE: Shanties at Lancaster Music Festival From: Charley Noble I've been listening to one of Fore 'N' Aft's recordings and they do a great job of singing songs with energy and harmony. Cheerily, Charley Noble |

Blowzabella - The Mariners and Wagon and Horses are running for all three days as the working programme we received . Don't know about the museum as we are no longer performing in there due to a scheduling problem. Come and have a sing with us in the Mariners from 8.30 on Friday evening. Ian & Chris |

I enjoyed it so much I intend to have another next year, so I'll have to dodge the Devil for another twelve months. Regard this as advanced warning! Cheers Scowie. |
