New World Festival in Vermont

Hmmm, this mayu show up twice. I went off looking, in case there was a website for this one, but didn't find it off hand. Anyway, there is a nice, one-day festival of Celtic and French-Canadian music in Randolph Vermont on Sunday, Sept 5. Randolph is just off Interstate 89, right smack dab in the middle of Vermont. The festival is a nice, manageable one, lots of dancing, not much jamming, but a good instrument tent, and pretty good food. Vermont's Catamount Brewery will also be there with beer for the pub-goers. Believe it's $10 for the event. If anyone is interested in specific performers, I'll bring home the flyer and fill you in over this site.

I am not sure if I'll be there. I may be up in Fiellding country at the time, but have been to he festival a few times and enjoyed myself (I was born in Randolph and my folks still live there.) If my Dad is home, and Mom needs support, I may well be in Randolph over that weekend and will certainly drop in at the festival for a couple of hours if I am in the area.
