I was surprised to find out that butcher boy is an English rather than Irish song. On you tube it says this song was discovered in a tiny village sung by an old woman. Later I will post other versions of butcher boy that I like as I have been wanting to hear that song all day. mg |

Actually, to my ear, the lead singer sings "skazhi" rather than "skagi" (in any form). |
