I know, I know, you're all familiar with the wonderful, BARRIE & INGRID TEMPLE, so I thought I just I'd remind you of what others say of them:

"Like friends singing to friends" - Paul Ryan, Black Diamond Folk Club

"Wonderful ... like chatting and singing to you as a personnel friend" - John Bentham, Tiger Folk Club

"A breath of fresh air ... wonderful, just wonderful" - George Papavgeris

"Not just good singers, but good friends as well" - The Wilson Family

Magnificent New CD "All Dressed Up". This CD has both traditional and contemporary material. Seven of the songs are Barrie's, which is recommendation in itself.

Supported and Hosted by: Keith Kendrick & Sylvia Needham

Entry: £12.00 (£10.00 if reserved in advance) - Concessions: £9.00
Contact: 01335 345675, or 07885 345367 or keith@keithkendrick.com.

Hope to see some of you there.

Cheers

Sylvia

You're absolutely right, Burl, it should be the 13th October.

The venue is The Old Oak Inn, 176 Main Street, Horsley Woodhouse, Derbyshire DE7 6AW.

Can someone please change the date of this thread to 13/10?

Thanks

13/10 is confusing to those who don't speak in that date system, so I changed it to 13 October 2010, which is more universally understandable.

As I'm still in a wheelchair, what's disabled access like please?

I'd recommend this gig to anybody. Just wish I lived nearer. Burl

Rhisnnon (love the new name), the venue is on the ground floor, but unfortunately, even though the toilets are also on the ground floor, there isn't a disabled toilet, and the one there is isn't wheelchair friendly.

Burl, wish you lived nearer too.

It's tomorrow night, folks.

Last month, Donal McGuire popped in and gave us a few songs. We have another extra guest this month, but you'll have to come to find out who it is.

I presume that Keith will be missing it as I'm expecting to be watching him in Lancaster!

Yes, I will be hosting the concert all on my own.

Enjoy the play.

(for those of you who are not aware, Keith is performing in a play called "The Unknown Land" about an ill-fated expedition to the Arctic. I promise you will enjoy the play, but, as you can imagine, it does not have a happy ending, but, there is a twist. It is very well written by Caroline Small and very well performed by David Fredrickson - who plays all the parts, and the music and most of the singing is by Keith).

Cheers

Well, home after an amazing evening with Barrie and Ingrid.

John Prentice and Jill Drury were our extra guests this month, but Sheila Bentham also told one of her amazing stories.

Next month, November 10th, we have the ex-Spinner, Hughie Jones as our guest.

Cheers
