BS: The Fijian Coups

Because Asian/Indo-Fijians (mostly the descendants of indentured labourers) have tended to have larger families and vote for their own, Indigenous Fijians have made a series of coups in order to maintain power.

It seems to me one of the more difficult cases for the United Nations to resolve...any thoughts?

Could well happen here in Britain soon,if the government doesn't tackle the immigration problem.

It isn't "indigenous Fijians" that have done that, it's been an elite of brutal thugs claiming to act in their name.

Malaysia has the same issues only on a much bigger scale.

British imperialism was good at divide and rule, as well as at promoting elites of brutal thugs. Millions dead as a result.

It's why Fiji was not at the Commonwealth Games, of course: the Commonwealth being a remnant of the British imperialism you mention, Jack, that should be dissolved, in my opinion - "apart from some local government, all any citizen of our modern world needs is their own nation and the United Nations (here).

It is time for the native Fijians to exercise their rights and encourage Indians, imported by the British, to return to India.
Kenya has done much to discourage Indians who were brought there to leave (a number came to Canada, and to other Commonwealth countries).
Power struggles in Sri Lanka will continue because of Tamils brought into the country by the British.
