Oct 17th    JAMES KEELAGHAN   £9adv

James Keelaghan is one of Canada's greatest musical treasures. His passionate mix of roots rock, Americana, and contemporary folk has established Keelaghan's presence in Europe, Australia, and North America. While growing up in western Canada, Keelaghan was an avid follower of music and theatre, but studied history while attending the University of Calgary. Music took over, however history would be a major catalyst in Keelaghan's subsequent narrative songwriting style. His songs have been recorded far and wide and he has won a succession of Juno Awards and nominations for his catalogue of albums.
His latest album House of Cards features co-writes with the likes of Karine Polwart, David Francey and Dave Gunning.

If you can make it there, please go! He played folkforms a few years ago for us & was utterly wonderful.

Thanks, Skipy. Yes, he is wonderful and deserves to play before much bigger audiences in the UK

Last throw of the dice on this...the gig is tonight.

Before I go though.....here's James talking about and singing Kiri's Piano
