Blind Lemon Jefferson Song

The Texas bluesman Blind Lemon Jefferson recorded a couplet which went roughly,

Many a man rocks the cradle.
Fool thinks he's rocking his own.

Does anybody know the name of the record in which the couplet appears?

Even better, would anyone have a transcription of the entire song?

Many anticipatory thanks.

"Crawling Baby Blues" Blind Lemon Jefferson

Heard a baby crying, what do this mama mean
Heard a baby crying, what do this mama mean
He's crying 'bout his sweet milk, and she won't feed him Jersey cream

Well, he crawled from the fireplace, stopped in the middle of the floor
Well, he crawled from the fireplace, stopped in the middle of the floor
Says, "Mama, ain't that your second daddy standing back there in the door?"

Well she grabbed my baby, spanked him and tried to make her leave him alone
Well she grabbed my baby, spanked him and tried to make her leave him alone
I tried my best to stop her and she said, "The babe ain't none of mine"

The woman rocks the cradle,
I declare she rules the home
The woman rocks the cradle,
I declare she rules the home
Married man rocks some other man's babe, fool thinks he is rockin' his own

Hi Greg. Many thanks. That was most helpful.

Thanks Greg,
Fred's request was for me. I'm writing a piece for Mustrad on all the 'rocking a baby that's none of my own' songs. I'm certainly going to include this one and will credit both you and Fred.

Steve please don't credit me. I didn't transcribe it, I just looked it up. It would be nice to credit Mudcat though as a good place for looking up obscure songs(the best place). Even if Malcolm Douglas is alas in the great library in the sky, we still see Masato Sakurai now and again, and a lot of us lesser mortals doing our bit as well.
I would also point out that it took nearly three hours for Fred's request to be answered. On a good day you sometimes get the facts in three minutes!

All 3 Fred, Greg and Mudcat credited, and knowing Rod the article will be already up and running.

When it is, Joe, can you please put a link in here and possibly on any other 'Rocking the Cradle/baby' threads.
