Speaking of Bruce, he is our featured artist this Friday. Hope you can still make it Bobad.
Thanks Dan and hopefully the below link works.

As a writer myself (such that I am) I often hear songs and say wow, I wish I had written that ... well that is true for every song he ever wrote ... some guys have all the talent ... :-)

Come Across to You

I wondered what had happened to Brucie...guess he's gone and gotten
all famous on us, and can't be bothered to check in here any more?
We miss ya, Peace! Break a leg....

One of my all time favorite songs of Bruce is "Down in Mississippi".
He doesn't do it any more but what a powerful message in it.

I've got 'Can I Come Across To You' on my FB page now, Dan. Thanks for that. I *love* that song...and I wish Bruce would do an updated version of it...It would be great to hear him singing it on his new CD.

And by the way, WHEN is his new CD coming out???????

:0)

And Mackie makes a USB MP3/Wave recorder now that cost 200 bucks, that with 2 condenser mikes and Bruce could have a new CD tomorrow Equipment costs maybe 400 bucks total.... The quality of that recorder is as good as any studio I think in the right hands controlling it. I will contribute if anyone else wants to join me. Nice thing about that unit is you can take it with you also to do some live stuff. I have an old firewire by Mackie ... its a pain in the arse but works ok for me ..

I`ll be in the studio next month. Been working on a few things including a French version of Mercy (a song that had best be kept off any sites for now) which seems to appeal to many of the French-speaking people here.

I appreciate the thoughts, but I humbly request that the thread be closed.

I don`t write often, Dan, but I think of you often.

Bruce

"Joshua - rough night in Jericho" is the first song by Bruce that I ever heard. It knocked my socks off! -- went barefoot for a week. ;-)
