I got intrigued with some mention from the UK folk here about lanterns made from turnips; I had never heard of that. I had to try it, and came up with this stroke of genius, or dementia, or whatever. The other Jack for this year is more commonplace. |

Micca told me they aren't really "turnips" as we know them, they are Rutabagas which, to me, still look like a turnip, though a little larger and I see they are a "yellow" "Swede" turnip.
