Well, I'm a fiddler, but not a very good one. I haven't been at it a couple of years yet.

It seemed a logical thing to attempt after mandolin (my weapon of choice), and I'm glad I've tried it. I'm currently between fiddles, so you're spared me posting anything.

Reminds me, I really must get a new one - What few chops I have are rusting already.

A fine instrument. Great fun to play.

Martin... GREAT!

CARA (Oaks)

If you read their reviews, about the twelfth one is by a famous international music critic who extols one of the finest fiddle tunes ever composed. Check out the review from Canada.

Every CD is worth twice the price.

I love watching a fiddler who really gets into the tune...moving their body along with it. It's the way I play and I don't understand folks who don't.:-) SO! Thanks for the video links to Oakley! WOW and the Cara CDs. My grandson, Morgan, will really enjoy hearing Morgan the Grandchild!

Great stuff, all.

I've just started learning (only 13 lessons so far) so I'm pretty terrible.
Click if you dare - rather like fingernails down a blackboard at the moment
But my fiddlin' ain't half as awful as my singing.
