All were business-friendly or military veterans and more libertarian than most. J. C. Watts represented Oklahoma City for three terms in recent years, but the GOP had no Black Representatives for a while. As of NOV 2 they have two. The third candidate this round, Ryan Frazier in Colorado, lost. yes, this link is to a Republican website...you were warned |

They even showed pictures. Should they have found Jessie Jackson and put a camera on him to see if he was crying? That "liberal" outfit seemed to be far too busy blaming Obama for the losses. They also showed Nicky Halley, an Hispanic woman in New Mexico and the Democratic yoyo that lost to DeMint. I am sure you intend to make a point but wouldn't it be easier if you just went ahead and made it? |

04 Nov 10 - 09:41 PM (#3023938) Subject: RE: BS: Republicans elect 2 of 3 Blacks toHouse From: Little Hawk Uh-huh. Whoopee. But did you notice they did NOT elect a single chimp??? ;-D You know, Hitler found quite a few Frenchmen, Norwegians, Dutchmen, Belgians, Danes, Russians, and even a few Poles who were eager and willing to serve the Reich. And the US Army found lots of Indians who were willing to track down and kill even their own tribespeople, if paid. It is always possible to find someone...no matter what point of view you represent. Someone will cross the line. You have to look at the overall statistics of a whole population to see where matters really lie, not quote individual cases. What percentage of Blacks customarily vote Republican in the USA? What percentage of gays do? Find that out, and you will see where matters really lie with those 2 minorities as regards the Republican Party. |
