Now that I think of it, a lot of the spammy stuff that gets deleted looks like fone-emanations-- the all-lowercaps thing is how we reckanize FreeCycle posts as having come from computerless fone-posters who lack land lines and ISP fees. Have you ever posted to Mudcat via phone? (I didn't like it, so I'm getting rid of that service on my phone. Screen way too small, even biggified.) ~Susan |

I suppose I could sometime....but it costs more, and I am on the pay-as-you-go plan. But unless you got a weird one, there's no reason to stay in lowercase. There's always some way to enter UPPERCASE. |

It has internet access and I can post to Mudcat OK but I find it clumsy and it is only useful for short messages. I have more than once lost a complete and fairly lengthy reply by "hitting" the wrong key so I don't do it any longer. Twitter is not too bad, but I don't Tweet very often. |
