Heard it done at a folk club at the weekend, and it mentions Belfast in the first verse, (hence my interest)... chorus has a line about "If you poison your kid's minds with hatred it's a hard life wherever you go". (or something along those lines anyway) anyone got a tune? or a recording you could Mediaring? slainte alison

There is a sample from Nanci's CD entitled "Storm" on Amazon.com. You can order the CD through the Mudcat and help Max pay for some of the Mudcat equipment. Oh, you can tell the folk police in Oz that many an American considers Nanci a "folk singer" despite her Texas twang and writing her own songs. Of those who inspire her work, more are considered folk singers than are considered country artists. I once would have said, "If it's in the DT it must be folk."
