Hi everyone. I hope I can call on your expert knowledge. I 'wrote' the tune below a couple of months ago. I want to put it in a set with an existing tune. Can anyone suggest a suitable one?

Speed the knitting (basic mix - fiddle & melodeon)

the dots

Donkey Riding would ft well, especially if yu changed the key.

Jockey to the Fair may be a better choice...

Sounds a bit like 'The three sea captains'!

"Hit Her On the Bum" has much the same rhythm.

@Mr Happy. Just went and looked for three sea captains (tune not 3 actual captains). you are right it does sound similar. I always worry I've accidentally channeled another tune...although I'd written this one before I heard the three sea captains tune. How weird is that?

I Like your tune. Humming it and trying to see what came out after it I came up with The Moon and Seven Stars. Change of key from G to D is often effective. ABC Below

X:1
T:The Moon and Seven Stars
C:Traditional
M:6/8
R:Jig
K:D
