BS: 'No Labels' Movement...

Well, well, well...'

Anyone else aware of the "No Labels" movement??? Seems it is slowly picking up steam as moderates try to get a word in edge-wise between the extremes on the left and right...

Okay, I'll admit to being perhaps on the extreme left but I'll also admit to thinking that if we could bring about civility that would help those of us on the left to get our message into the mix...

I believe there is a website fir this group... Maybe someone can find it and put a blue clicky fir it???

Nothing wrong with being "extreme" bobert its the "liberal" optimists who are the problem.

Looks like the Republicans cant wait to dump Sarah and get back to "business as usual"

Wonder if she would lead "no labels" as the third party?
The Dems would have to vote for....or go to sleep for eight years!

A word of warning, there is no way of running a capitalist economic system without financially exploiting the people...especially a system in decline.

A third party will be useless unless serious about change....major change.
Without that it will be simply another distraction....ready to jump into bed with which ever of the established parties promises a smell of power.

See our LIBERAL PARTY.

Ake, ol buddy... You just don't get this thread... It ain't another political thread... If you look at the links you'll plainly see it's not about that at all... It's about trying to fix the ways in which folks communicate... Period!!! Not about capitalism or this being bad or that being bad... It's just a different way of doin' an old song...

In other words, you have missed the point...

I didn't miss the point about denigrating the label "liberal" as a swear word... pity - it's the 'liberals' who felt that people should be ale to make money on their own, and not be slaves to the rich 'conservatives' ....

:-P

The "No Labels" movement is meeting in NY and looks as if it's going to have some impact:

Washington Post:

"No Labels movement launches in NY, pledges to fight partisanship", by Phillip Rucker...

Maybe someone will do a blue clicky???

If we didn't have labels, how would we know whom to hate?

I might be more inclined to watch their video if they didn't insist on an email addy by having the request superimposed over the video with a threat that it will cost me if I want to continue watching it for free. Not a good first impression.

Which, kat, says much about their way of thinking.

People's response to whether they agree or disagree with statements of political philosophy or proposals often differ depending on the label (e.g., "liberal" or "conservative" or "Democratic" or "Republican") attached to them.    The best way to find out people's actual beliefs and goals is not to use such labels.

And, talk about synchronicity (is that what it's called?)! Just as I opened this thread and started typing this, Norman Goldman brought up the subject of this "no-labels movement" on his radio talk show! LOL

Just glad to see this... IMO, it's the righties who seem to need "Manners 101"... You can't shoot folks who you disagree with... It's the rules...
