Oh, and thanks again for the pressie... did my first LA Times crossword today. It's bigger and the higher difficulty level is better than our local paper. Only problem is the venue... >;)

Seems to be a little bit of clubbines in here - ah well, we paddies are thick enough to live with that.
Good luck with your crossword, Gnu - I've saved last Saturday's Times to pass today with. It would freeze the balls off a buffalo here, so I ain't goin' out.
Happy Christlemud to all, Yank, Brit and Antipodean,
Davy (northern paddy who knows his place).

I have a Framus in my office. I am typing This on my new thumb phone. I would say more but it takes too long.   Merry Happy one and all.

It's not me mate - too bloody cold in your office.

framus... "...we paddies are thick enough to live with that."

Dunno what you mean. I am only four generations removed from Paddieland and there is a 50% chance that the OP is "paddie" too.

Are you in Buffalo?

Nope, I'm still here in Paddieland. (North, that is.)
How's the crossword going?
Davy.

I shall do another crossword tomorrow. Right now, the ale is far more important.

So... Paddieland... you really don't understand COLD. It's all relative I suppose. I live in New Brunswick, Canada. If we had buffalo here, we'd buck em ta get get warm at times.

No Jack, I'm a tenor banjo of indeterminate origin.
Isn't it funny how people are always warm in fahrenheit and cold in centigrade?
We don't have buffalos here either, but I've got a bison in the loo - I bet you wouldn't tackle it to keep warm, though.
Happy Yulefest to all.
Davy.
