BS: Coincidence or foul play?

So Bobby Farrell of Boney M included in his repertoire the song "Rasputin"

Then he goes and dies on the same day, and in the the same city that rasputin died ...

... spooky!

Probably a lot of people died in St. Petersburg that day as well.

Well, not knowing anything about the singer, I did go look and am finding the video at the end of

fun to listen to. Not something I'd go look for, but still a part of pop culture that's fun..no harm in that.

Oh, THAT guy. I used to listen to a lot of disco... on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights... until a I found a young lady who, ah, um, er, liked my dancing... yeah, that's it.

When I found out it was better, and easier, to meet young ladies at the grocery or book store, my disco days were over for good.

well, apart from the countless millions of 40 and 50 somethings all around the world today
who derived far more genuine youthful pleasure and happiness from the gloriously tacky glittery pop music
of Boney M
than they ever could from boring old grandad's musty grim grey 'Folk' world of dubious merriment...???

Yeah, the 70's would have been a much more sensible earnest time without the likes of Boney M
and their moral deforming and brain warping malignant progaganda for fun!!!???

ra ra rasputin..!!!!!!

Well, as I understand it, he didn't even sing,he just mimed to the recordings and only had a place in the band because his brother was the manager (or something like that)

I think there was a cosmic conspiracy against Bobby. Sometimes I feel the same unearthly powers have got it in for me.

It would be even more of a coincidence if he died the same way as Rasputin, full of poison and bullets and water.

Well Silas,

Judging by the number of posts on this thread, it appears that you care more than anyone else.
