I ran across this while looking for something else, and thought I might as well post it. These lyrics correspond as closely as I can make them to this recording at YouTube.

MARRIED WOMAN BLUES
As recorded by Sleepy John Estes, 1935.

Now don't never take a married woman to be your friend.
She will get all your money, pay her same man back again.

Now a married woman she always been my creed.
Now a married woman always been my creed.
Now a married woman won't carry me to my grave.

Now I looked down the railroad till my eyes got green and sore.
Now I looked down the railroad till my eyes got green and sore.
If you don't come tomorrow, the next day will be my goal.

Now it must've be train time; I heared the whistle blow.
Now it must've be train time; I heared the whistle blow.
Now it blowed just like it ain't gonna blow no more.

Now just as sure as the grass on the verges(?) grow green,
Now just as sure as the grass on the verges(?) grow green,
I ain't crazy 'bout no woman that I ever seen.

Another version, also found on YouTube:

MARRIED WOMAN BLUES
As recorded by J. B. Hutto, 1966.

Well, you ask me how I feel. How would you feel when you just lost your girl?
Yeah, you ask me how I feel, baby. How would you feel when you just lost your girl?
Yeah, she's a married woman, but she's the only thing I ever loved in this world.

Yeah, I know it's hard, hard to love a married woman, man.
Yeah, but I say it's hard, hard, baby, hard to love a married woman bad.
No, you can't see her when you want to. You got to catch a ... when you can.

Now, when you love a married woman, you gonna always have the blues.
Yeah, I say when you love a married woman, yeah, you gonna always have the blues,
'Cause every time, every time you want to see her, then her husband want to see her too.
