I'm a female singer/accordionist/tin whistler and I'm looking to form a band that does contemporary folk/acoustic music. A mixture of songs and tunes. Influences: Megson, Kerfuffle, Jackie Oates, Eliza Carthy etc etc.... Looking to gig and play for fun more than money, though it would be nice if we got paid! I expect to rehearse/jam together once a week or so in my house in Finchley, London. Would love to learn new stuff, also interested in self-penned songs/tunes. So if you're a guitarist or a fiddler, singer, mandolin player, flautish, bodhran player, etc etc... :) |
