Verse 2 line 1&2: She's got eyes like diamonds, teeth shine like Klondike gold. Verse 2 line 3: Every time she loves me she sends my mellow soul. Verse 4 line 3: May not pick no berries but we'll come back feeling good. (Some of these lines also appear in ROLL 'EM PETE, also by Big Joe Turner & Pete Johnson. In fact, the tune seems virtually identical.) |
