08 Jan 11 - 03:59 PM (#3070072) Subject: RE: Broadside Conference 26 Feb 2010-Cecil Sharp House From: giles earle I did manage to book via the EFDSS website, earlier this evening (Saturday). So it's possible, albeit time-consuming thanks to a series of pages that took an age to load when I tried to pay. Looks like a most interesting day. I heard Lucie Skeaping's talk a couple of years ago, in York. |

But this is an important thread on an important subject. Wouldn't it be better to just keep deleting the spam, as you did with the two which followed Les in Chorlton's posting above? ------------ Agreed, Fred. 01 Mar 11 - 07:21 AM (#3104866) Subject: RE: Broadside Conference 26 Feb 2011-Cecil Sharp House From: Ruth Archer A great event. So many really fascinating talks, but my personal highlights of the day were the extremely rude original version of Lavender's Blue, and the utterly glorious The Lass with the Velvet Arse. There was a fair bit of highly entertaining filth, it must be said. ---------- Thread closed due to persistent spamming. Maybe start a new one, now the conference is over?-------------------- |
