I have an enquiry from a gentleman who is a Flemish trad musician. He is seeking the lyrics to a song entitled "The Dream". As far as he is aware the song begins "I searched for the dream, all my days are passed me by...". He has a scrap of paper which indicates it was performed by a band (?) called Crossroads. There is a female & male vocalist, and there is chiefly a violin and guitar. This is all he knows about the song......SO

Come on Mudcatters..... I know someone out there has The Knowledge.

All suggestions appreciated.

Closest hit by googling: Moons of Jupiter, song "Until morning",

i had a dream / all my days were coming to an end
but when i woke / there were so many more to come

Never heard of this, but it may be "space music".
