From: GUEST,Philip I am looking for the lyrics of a 1960's folk song written by Matt McGinn and sung by him and Paddie Bell/ the Corries Folk Trio between 1964 and 1969. It was possibly recorded by Paddie Bell. It was called Bread and Margarine. It went something like: We all live on bread and margarine.... I think it was maybe to the tune of Yellow Submarine. Any help would be much appreciated! |

The collection contains a tape of Matt McGinn singing it in 1966. |
