A requirement for the Turks and Caicos to join Nova Scotia, (aka, Canada in the 2004 story) required them to have a tartan and learn to play the bag pipes. They did not follow up on that, so it fell through. :) |

It was 33.2 degrees at midnight, following a record-breaking seven days of temperatures over 30 degrees, a feat never before seen in 150 years of records of Sydney weather. There's a cool change coming.. right now I'm escaping to the shade.. |

That's the kind of heat I'm not sorry to be missing at all! On the 25th of this month, we are going to San Francisco to spend time with Rob's son, wife and grandsons. I believe the weather will be somewhat nicer than it is here at the moment, so it will be a bit of an escape - even if only for 10 days. |
