As I recall this song, it was a moderate hit in the 1950s for Don Cornell or Tony Martin or one of those folk music types. Perhaps you would would be better served for this song on a pop music lyric page.---John

Okay, more like half an hour. BUT I FOUND THE DAMNED THING!!!

Well, sorta ... 'Twas them, recorded 'bout '67. Haven't got a transription of the lyrics, but if you go to

in 1956 this song has been recorded by many artists but so many covers of this song were popular. i thought that this song was from 19665 but i was wrong!
