08 Sep 99 - 04:21 AM (#112375) Subject: mudcat radio song competition entrant From: alison Hi, We were going to a gig on Saturday when Alan of Oz announced that he was going to write a song to the tune of the Gypsy Laddie........... well it started my brain turning over and I pinched his idea, (at least I own up when I pinch things *grin*). So here is the first ever song that I have ever written in my life, (please be gentle with me....)
Feel free to add more verses........... (thanks again alan for the idea and scanning)

08 Sep 99 - 07:29 PM (#112615) Subject: RE: mudcat radio song competition entrant From: Alan of Australia G'day, Gee, I stay up late recording, mixing, converting to mp3, email to Max & crawl off to bed. Get up, late for work, tune in for a Mudcat fix & there it is already. I'm sure Alison is still asleep & won't even know yet that I've recorded the song. Apart from the vocals this was a recording we made a while ago with different words. That's Alison on whistle & piano filling in behind the guitar.

My comment about your sleeping habits seems to have been a bit hasty this morning!
