I'm not sure if it's the right translation; because when I checked on google translate it was different

"the right translation"? Wot's dat? It appears to be a relatively free translation of the original (Donegal) Irish. Google translation is unlikely to help!

If you have particular problem lines, point them out and I'll try.

michaelr, thanks for the reference to the website.

The translations seem well thought out.

Lyrics from the album inlay; I added the extra chorus as I heard it

Rachad Rann Na Móna
Rachad Rann Na Móna
An ait atá galánta, thíos chois na fairrge
Rachad Rann Na Móna

Rachad Rann Na Móna
Rachad Rann Na Móna
An ait atá galánta, thíos chois na fairrge
Rachad Rann Na Móna

Lá brea aolbhinn samhraidh 'gus mé tuirseach tlath-lag
Ní raíbh a fhios dá laghadh ag duine ar bith an scéal deas a tharla dom
'S mé dul síos an cosán beag gan smaoilneamh ar mo bhealach
Le boladh féir, tháinig draiocht san aer, is thosaigh mo chroí a dhamhsa

Rachad Rann Na Móna
Rachad Rann Na Móna
An ait atá galánta, thíos chois na fairrge
Rachad Rann Na Móna

Rachad Rann Na Móna
Rachad Rann Na Móna
An ait atá galánta, thíos chois na fairrge
Rachad Rann Na Móna

I dtosach tá crann beithe, ar chúl tá crann rua
I lár tá fraoch corcra, ís fulseóg beag faoi cheílt
'Stá amhrán ag an éan seo, go luath sa trathnóna
Maoídheamh! Boladh féir is draíocht san aer, ís ach an gcroí a dhamhsa

Google translation extra choruses thats in the song

Would go Rann Na Mona
Would go Rann Na Mona
The place is beautiful, also below the sea
Would go Rann Na Mona

Would go Rann Na Mona
Would go Rann Na Mona
The place is beautiful, also below the sea
Would go Rann Na Mona

Aolbhinn fine summer day And I'm tired, very weak tlath
I did not know if anyone At least the nice story that happened to me
'I'll go down the small path on my way without smaoilneamh
With the smell of grass, the magic in the air, my heart began to dance

Would go Rann Na Mona
Would go Rann Na Mona
The place is beautiful, also below the sea
Would go Rann Na Mona

Would go Rann Na Mona
Would go Rann Na Mona
The place is beautiful, also below the sea
Would go Rann Na Mona

Initially a birch tree, behind a red tree
In the middle is purple heather, disguised as small fulseóg
'States without the bird song this early in the evening
Maoídheamh! Grass smell magic in the air, but the heart of dance

Thought I posted something a minute or two ago...

The translation on the website is relatively "free" i.e. not trying to be literal but trying to maintain the poetic feeling and, where possible, rhythm.

The Google translation is mechanical i.e. not aware of poetry and not particularly good at being literal!

Plus it obviously doesn't recognize several Gaelic words.
