Hello all,
For those of you not on facebook, I am nearing my 50th Birthday, and have decided that to survive this long deserves a bit of a celebration (any excuse). I know I share this occasion with another lovely Mudactters significant birthday.... a certain Mr Morse, who I believe may well be on this side of the pond at the time (May 10th ish), but just to let you all know, I will be having a gathering of friends at The Falcon Hotel, Bude on Tuesday 10th May, to which you are all welcome, there will be singing and music and whatever else happens!!!! the following weekend, 13.14.15th May, I am hijacking the Fox and Hounds weekend of song at Bridestow, Devon as my birthday party, so it would be great to see any of you who could come along.....there is a camp site, bunk houses and the pub has a few rooms too. It looks like being a great weekend. If you can't make either, then there's always Bude Folk festival 27th to 30th May, where I am sure the celebrations will continue ........and it is hoped that my new birthday present CD will be out in time for one of the celebrations!!!!! I do hope some of you can come to one if not all of these, and I look forward to seeing you then, or indeed, whenever we catch up next.
Cheers, Lucy x

We will, indeed, be that side of the Pond, but will be in Portsmouth on the 10th and in Yorkshire the following weekend.

Fox and Hounds Weekend of Song was actually My birthday party. It started in my back garden, then moved to Elephants Nest and then to Fox and Hounds.

Yes, the other best person who shared a 10 May birthday was the late and much missed Johnny Collins...

Lucy,

Sorry we won't be able to join you on top of the Tor on your 50th, as we'll be helping Rosie's eldest celebrate his 40th.

But we'll see you in Bude at the Festival. Can't wait.

Thank you to all who came and joined me at The Falcon and The Fox and Hounds, a good time was had by all, though it was perishingly cold! I really enjoyed myself and hope you all did too!
Cheers, Lucy x
