This year's lineup has finally been published. I'm particularly happy to see Ed Trickett and Jez Lowe.

Aha!! It's in NY.

I wondered which performers were the ones that did the headlined 'traditional music'.

Well thats the blue touch paper lit.....stands back in anticipation.

Finest Kind, Freight Hoppers, Alison & Geordie, Danny Spooner, Amidons, Ed Trickett. I daresay the blues performers and gypsy jazz band will be doing at least some trad as well.

Old Songs never seems to dictate WHOSE traditional music it offers. Including Libana, Babik and the Dutch group seem right in line.

Nice to see Matt Wojcik back leading the shape-note singing and the Amidons leading the choral singing workshop.

You want good trad American music? Hear Larry Hanks. Doesn't get better.

Not only that, the low frequency ground swell when Larry sings will shake the kinks out of your neck and back:)

Scott Ainslie does about as good a job on Robert Johnson as anyone I've heard. Good roots based songwriter too.
