I was pretty excited to hear that Buffalo Springfield was going to get together for another tour. Dewey Martin and Bruce Palmer have passed on but they will be replaced. Richie Furey, Stephen Stills and Neil Young are on board.

Jim Messina was not a founding member but he did work with them at the end of their run. Is he going to be invited along for this year's tour?

According to what I've read they will be "joined by drummer Joe Vitale filling in for the late Dewey Martin and Young's longtime bassist Rick Rosas replacing the late Bruce Palmer".

I always like Richie Furay, and would love to see these three together as long as its a shared show and not Neil Young and friends.
Come on McGuinn...we love you as a folk singer, but would it hurt to give Dave and Chris a call?

Wow, they could invite everybody who ever played in Poco, the Byrds, CSN & Y and the Flying Burrito Brothers and have a grand old time. Heck, Country Gazette was an outgrowth of the Burrito's concerts, and I'll bet Byron Berline is still in fine form...

And if they could just bring back Gram Parsons......

I didn't see a schedule for the tour. Did I miss it? This would be awesome!

Byron Berline is in excellent form, and honestly looks pretty much the same. Got a hot bluegrass combo, and throws a bluegrass festival each summer in Oklahoma. I don't know if Gram would be up for it, but I wouldn't mind if Emmy threw in some harmony.

I'd love to see them again too. Of all the bands of that era,and style of music, such as Jefferson Airplane, Steve Miller Band, Traffic, etc. I think they were the best.

By the way - speaking of Jefferson Airplane - I saw in the paper today that Paul Kantner just turned 70. That left me feeling a little old.....

Wes, he's doing pretty well for a guy that had a stroke in his 40s, I believe it was.
