Only met Alistair twice once in Otley and the other in Adelaide. I was very impressed by him as a man and as a musician. I had the opportunity both times to enter into a good conversation with him, which were enlightening. He had strong views and great commitment. I miss him. |

This broadcast is at 2pm and 10pm (UK time) today - it's currently just after midnight, so the first programme is 13 and a half hours away.... it's surprising how many people tell us that they missed something because they got the timezones mixed up.... The "full" broadcast is 2 hours 40 mins, and will go out at 2pm. The evening repeat has had to be edited down to 2 hours.
