You can hear this recording at YouTube. Here's my transcription:

I'VE GOT A "CODE" IN MY "DOZE" *
As sung by Gracie Fields

Feeling awf'ly bad,
What a time I've had
'Cause I didn't button up my new fur coat!
All is do is sniff,
Wag that handkerchief.
What a funny feeling in my eyes and ears and throat!

I can't sleep. I can't eat.
Get a pail and stomp my feet.
I've got a code in me doze.
Oh, I've got a code in me doze.
Please repeat what you said.
Funny noises(?) in me head.
I've got a code in me doze.
I've got a code in me doze.

Bought myself galoshes, flannel undies, too.
Over my galoshes, I wear a pair of rubber boots.
Oh, I feel bad. I feel bum.
Gee, I wish the spring would come!
I've got a code in me doze.
Oh, I've got a code in me doze.

Mustard plasters on my chest,
Mittens and a leather vest,
Can't do anything to help this doze of mine.
Camphor and a cold compress
Seem to help me less and less.
I look like the red spot on a comic valentine.

Ooh, my neck! Ooh, my knees!
All I do is sniff and sneeze.
I've got a code in me doze.
I've got a code in me doze.
Bought a box [of] aspirin.
Washed it down with real good gin.
I've got a code in me doze.
I've got a code in me doze.

Went to see the doctor, asked him what to do.
Lordy, help the doctor! He said, "I think I've got one too."
So we laid down side by side.
I'm still here but the doctor died.
I've got a code in me doze.
I've got a code in me doze.

WorldCat.org identifies a few libraries that have the sheet music, described thus:

I GOT A CODE IN MY DOZE (sometimes punctuated: I GOT A "CODE" IN MY "DOZE")
Words and music by Arthur Fields, Fred Hall & Billy Rose
New York City: Santly Bros., ©1929

Furthermore, I have found that it was sung by Barbra Streisand in the 1975 musical film "Funny Lady" (the sequel to "Funny Girl") and is on the sound-track album. Assuming that film was historically accurate, it must have been in the repertoire of Fanny Brice as well, but I haven't found any confirmation of this.

The Online 78-rpm Discographical Project lists recordings by:
Duncan Sisters, 1930
Fred Hall & His Sugar Babies, 1929 (which you can hear at RedHotJazz.com)
Harry Reser's Syncopators (Tom Stacks vocal), 1929
Zelma O'Neal w/Al Goodman Orch, 1929

The Fred Hall version suggests a few improvements in the lyrics:

Pass that handkerchief....
Get a pail and soak my feet....
Bought myself galoshes, flannel union suit....

My hunch is, Gracie deliberately changed "union suit" to "undies too" because audiences in the UK were unfamiliar with the term "union suit." I'm not sure about the others; maybe I misheard them.
