Hi

My niece is on a trip around the World eg Kilimanjaro, South Africa South America , USA and Canada and is now in New Zealand.

While she has been away she has been sending us Emails with copies of trip. These were easy for me to copy onto my own computer files.

She stopped sending Emails and started wrinting reports on Facebook and including pictures.

I was not a member of facebook but I joined and now I can see all the pics but can't copy them to my files.

Anybody here know if I can and if so how do I do it??

Thanks in advance

Mikel2

Well you could point at the picture and click with your right mouse button and select the relevant menu choice.

That doesn't work with the new Facebook photo viewer, at least not with Firefox browser.

Beneath the picture on the left hand side you will see these four options: Tag This Photo, Share, Download, Report This Photo. Clicking on Download will download the photo to your designated folder.

In Firefox, if I right-click on the picture (without opening it), one of my choices is 'save image as...'. If I then click that, the usual 'save' options appear.

Yes Art but it saves it in the thumbnail size.

Right-click on the thumbnail of the picture and select "Open in new tab." The new tab will show a large version of the picture, surrounded by standard Facebook crap, and you can right-click on that image to open it or save it in that size.

hi guys

Many thanks for your help. GUEST does have it right. I can follow his instructions and drag and drop the picture into what ever program I wish or into one of my picture files.

Face book though is not as graphics friendly as other social networks sites. I have to down load the pictures individually and in batches as I can on say Twitter etc.

But thanks very much for all your inputs, I do appreciate your help.

Cheers
