Hi folks,

I'm going to be in Sandown on the Isle of Wight all this week.

Is there any singing going on? Equally important: any decent beer in the area? The hotel I'm staying, The Bayshore, (with a walking club, walking the coast all week) only serve John Smith's Smoothflow.

Thanks in anticipation.

John

Hi, phone Andy, proprietor of the Dairyman's Daughter PH - he's much involved in the folk scene, & should know what's going on.

Thanks folks!

I'm just about to wander around to the Comical, a pub about 300yds from here that is reputed to serve excellent ale.

I'll report back.

JJ

Tuesday evenings Open session Dairyman's Daughter Arreton Barns Arreton.
Make yourself known to the obvious looking candidates , the rest just falls into place!!
If you were lucky to ask the right people in the comical you may well be on the track already.
Sorry you just missed our monthly Downland Folk Club last Friday evening.
You don't want to know about the Morris dancing at Dairyman's lunchtime today or the session at the Stag this afternoon!! (sorry)

Here's a Blicky to Folknstuff

Have fun, the Island is a great place to be.
