He played a track from Lucy Ward and said really nice things about her album. I'm going to be working in York for a few weeks and noticed on her website she was playing up there. Has anybody seen her perform? |

If you get the chance to go and see her live don't miss it, you'll be in for a real treat. (And have a chat to her mum and dad - they're lovely people as well.) |

From: GUEST,Alan Whittle I can tell you that the people at the Vernon folk club (where I think I maybe first saw her) in Spondon Dertby are very proud of Lucy and all that she's achieving. We also love the fact that she seems to be hacking it in the world of the folkerati - although many of us feel, she's actually far too good for them. |
