Just Seve is enough.

I think he deserves his own thread.

Well Lox after a google search the only thing I can come up with is a golfer with the first name of Seve. Is that who you are talking about?

He was truly one of the most amazing golfers to watch. He had a knack for saving himself from himself. There are countless tales of him "going for it" and hitting a terrible shot only to follow it with a shot of such brilliance you were ready to swear he was the greatest of all time. Far too young to go.............

Spaw

I have never been a fan of golf. But I can appreciate a proper sportsman. Seve was that, bless 'im.

What Raedwulf said. He was well liked in a highly competitive sport. He was obviously a good man.

Although not a golfing fan I made an exception as far as he was concerned. A real sports personality I will miss his smile.

RIP

The thing about Seve, he was passionate. in a sport where almost catatonic states of concentration is called for. Seve wore his heart on his sleeve. It was impossible not to respond to his elation.

A bit like alex higgins was in snooker - without the craziness that attended poor Alex. After a while he developed the 'yips' and lost his confidence. But he got over that.
