09 May 11 - 03:12 AM (#3150677) Subject: The Puritans Kinswinford Folk Club From: Arthur_itus Just wondered what happened to them and what they are doing today. I think I have the name correct. In the late 60's/early 70's they used to run the folkclub at Kingswinford. That was where I first heard Fiddlers Green written by John Conolly and the first time I saw golden hairlocks Martyn Wyndham Read and the late great Cyril Tawney. I used to enjoy going to that folk club. I think the lead singers christian name was Ian and the lady behind the bar was called Doris. |

And Harrington rings a bell - but don't rely on that.
