I posted these in one of the others before any of them had any other posts. Maybe Joe or Max can take care of the others. Sorry, you'll have to figure the breaks out. I typed them in the other one. If you choose to promote "Coopernic" (truly an excellent program) at least test out your links before you post them. |

You have the man's answer....
But you are too BUSY, (chatting/catting/disorganizing ...perhaps) to dig out the answer yourself....(the answer you KNOW you posted) so you leave the "work" to Joe or Max....
Come on....do YOUR part....help the poor overworked souls out....contribute something more to the community.

19 Sep 99 - 11:51 PM (#115639) Subject: RE: Lyr Req: Starry Starry Night From: Rick Fielding Amazing what kind of things you can find here at Mudcat when you've been away for a few days. One of our number is called an "IDJET" for trying to help out, and another (who of all people here, should know we don't reply to this man) says "be nice!!" I could add that the chords and timing are totally incorrect, but it hardly seems to matter. Rick |

21 Sep 99 - 09:19 PM (#116282) Subject: RE: Lyr Req: Starry Starry Night From: Rick Fielding Mag, it can also happen when you're "brewin' your own". Although I've never really fallen prey to the charm inherent in "Vincent", (I like the paintings though) it makes a great vehicle for parody. I've heard two over the years that I thought were screamingly funny. Don't know if I'll be able to find 'em, but I'll try. |

Kiam formortis la esper' Dum tiu stela, stela nokt', Vivprenis vi, Am' estas tia ĉi Mi povintus montri, Vincent' Ĉi mondon sen atent' pri iu bela kiel vi. I learned this during the North American Summer Esperanto Courses (where I was the school newspaper editor and assistant instructor) at the School for International Training in Brattleboro this July. The advanced course involved the study (in Esperanto) of Van Gogh's life and works. Very interesting guy, not just a loon with one ear missing. Haruo |
