18 May 11 - 01:29 PM (#3156401) Subject: New York Chantey Sing redux From: EBarnacle Last Sunday, May 15, we met at Sailor's Snug Harbor, Staten Island to revive the monthly chantey sing. Attendance was substantial, more than 60 people. The acoustics of the room were excellent and most of us were in good voice. Future chantey sings are scheduled to take place on the 3rd Sunday of each month, from 2 PM to 5 PM. Admission is free but we ask for a contribution to help support the Noble Gallery, where we are guests.
