Hello all

I'm off on holiday to Canada next week and I was wondering if anyone knew of any folk hotspots in either Toronto and Montreal?

Thanks!

Sophie

Try:http://www.toronto.com/ for Toronto gigs or take advice from Peter T & Little Hawk et al.

A trip to the Caledonian (College and Ossington) in Toronto on a Wednesday night would be a good start. People I know there will guide you in the right direction.
The sessions there alternate weekly one week singing, next week tunes. Plus folky friends who lived in Montreal for a few years.

Montreal Mirror has music listings. http://www.montrealmirror.com/wp/music-listings/2/

Also, Hurleys Irish Pub on Crescent Street has good bands.

To add to my post above, Grumpy's on Bishop Street (next street over from Hurleys - a 2 minute walk) has some good live stuff.
