Folk Guitar CD - My first effort

Hello All,

I have put out my CD at last and was hoping some of you could listen to it and tell me what you think! You can stream it here for no cost:

Sean Siegfried - Backwoods

I guess the best way to describe it is to mention names like John Fahey, Dave Evans (the wonderful Welsh singer-songwriter) and Bert Jansch. My attempt at mimicking the mood and melody of a traditional is in the second song, "Apples In Winter" - a slower version of an Irish Jig.

I'm also wondering about good places to submit, in order to reach people who might enjoy the music I've put on it. If anyone has any tips I'd be very grateful!

Love,

Sean

Earthy. Rich. Soothing.

Very nice playing! I'd submit to online "radio" stations such as Pandora. Best of luck!

Rich tone - very full bodied. What guitar did you use?

Thanks for the kind words, folks! Wesley, I used a Tanglewood "Masterdesign" TSM 2 for all tracks except the first one, "Sam's Brewery", which is the sound of a Guild GAD 30. I use medium gauge strings and compound nails, which helps define the tone a lot for me.
Michael, I'll submit to Pandora and start working through all the suitable radio stations I can find. Thanks for the advice so far!
