This wonderful weekend happens in the picuresque village of Robin Hood's Bay on the Yorkshire Coast.

A great weekend of sing arounds, sessions (often impromptu), dance, drinking etc Bill Adair is there on Sunday - worth travelling to see in himself. Aside from the odd collection to cover basic costs - all free!

Plenty of accomodation (easily bookable by internet) and excellent places to eat.

In case you're wondering, this is posted by a 'punter' not an organiser!

We've lost a number of great festivals and weekend this year - let's support the ones we are lucky enough to have left.

I'll second this, it is a fabulous weekend, very low key, very relaxed and I and a good number of mates have had some great sessions there.

PS..... I'm "MC'ing" the Saturday afternoon singaround this year, so no bias here then !

There's a couple of reasonable public sites within staggering distance. We don't camp no more!

You came to it before, Soldier boy. And you brought a certain unwelcome guest who wouldnt be told the way home and had us all wandering about in the fields at all hours. Remember?

Can I point out that organisation at the Bay Weekend takes a back seat as far as poss.
Its very much up to those who come to make a go of it. Great location, a date in the calendar and then its up to you!

Ah yes, I do remember dozy rozy. Bless you.
My long term memory is pretty poor but mention of a certain unwelcome guest getting us terribly lost brings it all back to me. Thank you.

Chris

A great weekend - thanks to all those who made this happen. A great weekend of sing arounds, sessions, sea and beer
