Dear All
The anual Folk and Ale festival at the Good Intent UK, will be held on 25th @ 26th June, to celebrate Karen's birthday. As all regulars are aware, Karen and Dal support folk and indeed, all live music at their pub, largely at their own expence. Also Karen's dad is 80 on this weekend. Hope to see you there.
Simon

Nah, wevva lovely.

Isn't the work Fiddlebird is putting in showing up - great tone, correct placement and pitch from all the little finger notes?

Gary's guitar work too has ranged on since Octopus began but he's still a smidgeon delicate.

And Steve's bodhran is now excellent.

We were all doing OK until Dean turned up and put us to shame...

(er - there are others...)

Had a great time Saturday, more of the ale than I should have and like morning wood had a very quiet day yesterday.
Which one was Dean? Was he there Saturday? I don't recall feeling shamed, even with my diamond studded Galway Shawl.

And they, as usual, had some wonderous beers on at sensible prices Terry. I too felt a 'tad' the worse for wear on sunday, but then again I'm still trying to make up for for total excess during our stay in Edinburgh.

Thanks to everyone for coming and a big thanks for your generosity in giving to the project that we are getting off the the ground, where ex drug users and other underprilaged people, are taught to play an instrument and then given a chance to record what they have learned. Thanks again
