Despite the farce of having the Brownlow in Sin City it was good to see Crawford get the nod. A worthy and gracious winner.

G'day,
Agreed, but disagree about the location - a truly national game must be capable of having these events anywhere in Oz. It's good for the game it's the computer age. Why not?

Cheers,
Alan

Alan, its a small thing called tradition mate. Besides, most people in Sydney would have no idea as to what the Brownlow is. If it was to go interstate(and it shouldn't) then it should go to a footballing state like Tassie, WA or SA where they would appreciate the honour etc. So who do you think will win on Saturday and by how much? Who will kick the most goals and who will win the Norm Smith Medal?

Donk, as a Victorian living in Sydney I've developed a different point of view, especially since the Swans (not my team) have done so well here. There are many converts, the interest is very high, it's good for the game as a national sport if more events are spread around the states. There are plenty of people here would think NSW is a footballing state these days.

Who will win? Dunno, I didn't expect either team to make it over the Bombers & Lions. However, both deserve it the way they played. Carlton after last week, although it's very difficult to maintain such a turn around of form right through to the end of the Grand Final. If it's the Blues then Kouta for the Norm Smith, otherwise Carey (yuk).

Cheers,
Alan

Donk - don't be so provincial. There are lots of us up here in Florida that haven't the foggiest idea what a Brownlow is. Sounds like it might be skivvies down around your anlkes, or somesuch. :)
